Passenger plane to Russia with 110 onboard crashes near Kazakhstan’s Aktau

A passenger plane of Azerbaijan Airlines on way from Baku to Grozny in Russia has crashed in western Kazakhstan. “A plane doing the Baku-Grozny route crashed near the city of Aktau. It belongs to Azerbaijan Airlines,” the Kazakh transport ministry said in a statement on Telegram.

Reports of injuries or killings have not been surfaced so far. There is no information on the number of passengers flying the aircraft at the time of the plane crash.
