GT vs PBKS, IPL 2025: Gujarat Titans’ ace spin all-rounder Rashid Khan on Tuesday inked his name to the list of players who took 150 wickets in the Indian Premier League.

Rashid Khan achieved this feat by dismissing Punjab Kings opener Priyansh Arya on the fourth delivery of the seventh over after Sai Sudharsan took the catch.

Rashid took his 150th wicket in the 122nd match and is now the third-quickest bowler after Lasith Malinga

and Yuzvendra Chahal. While Malinga took 150 wickets in 105 matches, Chahal achieved the record in 118 matches.

Following Rashid Khan, is Mumbai Indians’ star pacer Jasprit Bumrah who took 150 wickets in IPL in 124 matches. Dwayne Bravo achieved the feat in 137 matches, while Bhuvneshwar Kumar took 138 matches to ink his name in the record books.

After winning the toss, Gujarat Titans skipper Shubman Gill decided to bowl first and invited the guests to bat.

Batting first, Punjab Kings have scored 210/5 in 18 overs, where Shreyas Iyer smashed 90 runs in just 37 deliveries at a strike rate of 237.84.

Sai Kishore picked up three wickets, while Kagiso Rabada and Rashid Khan picked one wicket each for GT.
