The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is likely to get sack Salman Ali Agha as the T20I captain after their three losses against India in the recently-concluded Asia Cup 2025 in Dubai. The Men in Green, who went without the likes of Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan, in the continental showpiece, lost to India in group stage, Super 4 stage and in the final.
Based on a PTI report, the PCB’s decision comes up as a strategic rest ahead of the T20 World Cup 2026 which will be hosted jointly by India and Sri Lanka.
