iPhone SE 4 likely to launch of 19 February: India price, Apple Intelligence features and everything expected

Apple CEO Tim Cook has confirmed that it will be holding its first product launch of the year on 19 February and if rumors are to be believed it is likely to be the iPhone SE 4. The first special edition iPhone in 3 years is likely to be also the cheapest Apple product to come with support for companies’ artificial intelligence features dubbed Apple Intelligence.

iPhone SE 4 expected specifications: 

iPhone SE 4 is likely to carry forward  the display from iPHone 14, meaning it could feature a 6.1 inch OLED panel with 60Hz refresh rate. Apple is expected to use a notch design on the front of iPhone SE 4, which is the design that Cupertino adopted prior to it bringing dynamic island to newer iPhones. The notch on SE 4 is likely to hide a 12MP shooter which could support Face ID, signalling the end of Touch ID home button. 

Leaked images suggest the device will feature a boxy frame with rounded edges, staying true to Apple’s recent design philosophy. On the back, the SE 4 is tipped to retain a single-lens camera setup, reinforcing its status as a budget-friendly offering within Apple’s portfolio.

Additionally, do not expect an iPHONE 16-like Camera Control or Action button on the iPHONE SE 4, with the latest leaked images showing no signs of a multi-functional button. 

The phone will reportedly come powered by the same A18 processor as the iPhone 16 lineup and is expected to become the first device to come with an in-house cellular modem chip. 

The iPhone SE 4 is likely to come with 8GB of RAM, much the iPhone 16 series, in order to allow Apple Intelligence related features to run smoothly.

Meanwhile, the iPhone SE 4 will also be the first Apple device to equip an in-house 5G modem, ditching the alternative by Qualcomm.

iPhone SE 4 price: 

iPhone SE 4 is expected to be priced at $499 for the base variant, which should translate to around ₹50,000 price point in India. The pre-orders for iPhone SE 4 are likely to start from 21 February onwards, and the phone could go on sale from 28 February.
