A close advisor to Donald Trump has issued a grave warning to the American public as he claims the nationwide drone sightings – that are feeding a growing sense of hysteria across the US – are linked to a chilling government plot.
Charlie Kirk, 31, a conservative political activist and close confidant of president-elect Trump, took to X on Friday to claim America is ‘f****d’ as he suggested the recent mass drone sightings are part of Project Blue Beam.
‘WE ARE F****D. THE DRONES ARE PROJECT BLUE BEAM,’ Kirk posted on X.
‘LOOK FOR VIDS OF THEM TRANSFORMING FROM BALLS OF LIGHT TO PLANES WHEN FILMED TO SEE FOR YOURSELF. THE GOVERNMENT IS NOT INVESTIGATING. THEY ARE DOING THIS. WHATEVER YOU SEE IN THE COMING DAYS IS NOT GOOD.’
Project Blue Beam is a conspiracy theory dating to the 1990s that claims global elites, including government and military organizations, are planning to use advanced technology to stage celestial events in order to manipulate the world’s population.
The theory has recently found traction again online as commentators such as Kirk claim that the US government could stage an alien invasion as a pretext for imposing authoritarian rule.
The outlandish theory is among many that have been amplified over the last week in the vacuum of information left in the wake of the Biden administration’s failure to tell the public where the drones are coming from or who is behind them.
And Donald Trump called for urgent action yesterday, taking to the Truth Social platform to say: ‘Mystery drone sightings all over the country. Can this really be happening without our government’s knowledge? I don’t think so! Let the public know, and now. Otherwise, shoot them down!’
Swarms of drones have been spotted in the skies of New Jersey for weeks, sparking officials to call for a ‘limited state of emergency’
Charlie Kirk, 31, a close advisor to Donald Trump issued a grave warning to the American public as he claims the countrywide drone sightings may be linked to a spine-chilling conspiracy theory

The Pentagon claims there is no threat to national security but has not been able to explain the spate of drone sightings across the country in recent weeks. The vast majority have been in New Jersey but mystery aircraft have also been reported across the country from Washington DC to California.
Some of the objects have been said to be as large as a car, while New Jersey police reported that the drones were ‘unlike anything we have seen before’, failing to emit either heat or sound, making them undetectable on radar.
An Iranian ship was said to have been spotted off the New Jersey shore days before the first drone sighting was reported on November 18.
Congressman Jeff Van Drew said the drones were coming from a ‘hostile mothership’ offshore, saying: ‘It could be hundreds of miles out at sea. These types of drones go much greater distances.
‘Could it be China? Absolutely. Iran is a definitely possibility.’ Mr Van Drew added: ‘The Pentagon does not know what these drones are or where they are coming from. I have highly credible sources who believe Iran could have a ship off the east coast. We are not being told the truth. They are treating the American public like we are stupid.’
Kirk’s bold post on X claimed that the recent, bizarre sightings are not of traditional drones but rather ‘balls of light’ transforming into planes.
Kirk’s ‘balls of light’ claim appears to reference a recent spotting of a ‘glowing orb’ seen hovering in skies above New Jersey.
The footage taken by ABC7 in Mendham Township went viral over the weekend as a reporter on the ground told anchors in the studio: ‘We have no idea what it is.’
Some claimed that the video showed a distant light source such as a star that was out of focus, while others claimed that it was a UAP (Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon).
Although Kirk’s theory is fringe, the conservative commentator is by no means on the fringes of Trump’s MAGA movement. The president-elect was last month reported to have used Kirk as a sounding board for potential cabinet picks, along with other trusted advisers such as Vivek Ramaswamy and Elon Musk.
In Kirk’s post about Project Blue Beam he included an attachment from a Reddit thread, allegedly posted by a 25-year ‘Radar Operator’, that claimed the drones are part of a military ‘drill’ and that all released information is on a ‘need to know basis’.
‘The drones are part of a military ‘drill’ being conducted by space force. Everything is on a ‘need to know’ basis which is why there is so much confusion,’ the post reads.
The user, who titled the post ‘Radar Guy here, I know who is operating the Drones,’ said they were ‘concerned’ that ‘something big is about to go down.’
Mysterious drones are terrorizing US cities from coast to coast as the eerie objects have now been spotted in California, Massachusetts, Florida, Wyoming, Maryland, New York and New Jersey. Pictured: A New Jersey resident saw what appears to be multiple drones flying over their Bernardsville home
The user, whose sentiments were ultimately echoed by the President-elect advisor, claimed to know of alleged ‘full lock out’ drills, which they say involve ‘full turnover of all radio and radar aircraft communications to the military for several hours at a time.
The wild claim links back to the decades-old conspiracy as part of the multi-pronged theory preys on fears of government and military secrecy.
The Reddit user similarly referenced the ‘goals’ of Project Blue Beam as they alleged the US government is preparing for a ‘big show’ for the public very soon.
Another part of the theory claims that miraculous or supernatural events would be staged to convince the masses of the legitimacy of the new world order sought to be created as part of the scheme.
The user even went so far as to claim CNN was shooting ‘pre-roll’ for a future story on the upcoming ‘big show.’
‘CNN was even at our facility shooting ‘pre-roll’ footage for a future story. I don’t know exactly what is going on, but all I know is this: GET READY!’ the post concluded.
Nearly 5,000 reports of drone sightings have been sent to federal officials including the FBI, the Department of Homeland Security and the Federal Aviation Administration.
The peculiar drone sightings were first reported in New Jersey in late November, since, many have taken to social media to share their own viewing.

The sightings started mid-November with footage capturing ‘car-sized’ drones with flashing lights
On Friday, internet personality, Mario Nawfal, took to X claiming New Jersey residents were ‘freaking out’ after eight to ten foot drones were spotted overhead.
His post included a video of the strange, ‘glowing orb’ seen the New Jersey sky.
Nawfal claimed to have seen over 50 drones flying over the East Coast state in a single night.
The 30-year-old entrepreneur called the drones ‘creepy’ and ‘invisible to trackers’ before alleging that federal officials have ‘no clue’ as to what’s going on.
‘And guess what? Neither the military, FBI, nor Homeland Security has a clue who’s behind them,’ Nawfal posted.
Nawfal closed his post asking: ‘Is this Big Brother or the start of a low-budget alien invasion?’
Officials from the White House, FBI and DHS on Saturday stressed that most of the recent reported drone sightings in New Jersey and nearby states involved manned aircraft, and there was no evidence of any national security threat.
An FBI official told reporters during an impromptu briefing that the agency was working with 50 local, state and federal partners to look into increased reports.
The official said less than 100 of the over 5,000 reported sightings had turned out to merit further investigation, and all of the large fixed-wing reported sightings so far involved manned aircraft.
Joe Biden is receiving regular updates on the issue, a White House official said.
On Cape Cod in Massachusetts, residents and a police officer in Harwich reported seeing 10-15 drones flying in the Friday night sky, the Boston Herald reported.
Police relayed the information to the Boston FBI and Massachusetts State Police.
Gov. Maura Healey said on Facebook that she is also ‘aware of a growing number of drone sightings across Massachusetts and we’re monitoring the situation closely.’
New York Governor Kathy Hochul on Saturday called for a boost in federal law enforcement efforts after the runways at a local airport in the Hudson Valley were shut down for one hour due to drone activity on Friday.
‘This has gone too far,’ Hochul said in a statement on the social media network X, urging the Biden administration to boost law enforcement in New York and other areas, and calling on Congress to pass drone reform legislation.
An official with the Federal Aviation Administration said a temporary ban on drone activity had been put in place over Picatinny Arsenal, a military base in Wharton, New Jersey, that was due to expire on Dec. 26 and could be made permanent.
There had been drone sightings over Picatinny and another naval weapons station in December, a military official told reporters, but there was no intelligence or observation that they were linked to a foreign actor or had malicious intent. Drone operations over military installations are generally banned, but occur from time to time, the official added.
A second ban was put in place over Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey, that was due to expire on Dec. 20, but could be extended, the FAA official said.
