U.S. fighter jet shot down by friendly fire over Red Sea

Two U.S. Navy pilots ejected safely over the Red Sea on Sunday after the fighter jet they were in was shot down by what appeared to be friendly fire, U.S. Central Command said. The jet was mistakenly fired on by the guided missile cruiser USS Gettysburg, which is part of a carrier strike group in the region. NBC News’ Raf Sanchez reports from Jerusalem.
