A memorial service for Charlie Kirk has been scheduled for next week at the home of the Arizona Cardinals, with President Donald Trump set to attend.

Turning Point USA, his organization, announced that his supporters will be able to pay their final respects on Sunday September 21 inside State Farm Stadium.

In a post to their social media pages, they invited his supporters to join in ‘celebrating the remarkable life and enduring legacy’ of the conservative activist.

The stadium, located in Glendale, has a fixed seating capacity of 63,400 which can be expanded to as much as 73,000 for larger events.

It has hosted three Super Bowls, the College National Championship, WrestleMania and is the annual host of the Fiesta Bowl.

It remains unclear at this time what private family funeral services will follow the largescale event.

President Trump said earlier this week that he was going to attend the service after addressing the nation following the death of Kirk.

Kirk, 31, was assassinated on Wednesday while speaking at a university event in Utah, after a single bullet struck him in the neck.

His wife Erika shared a series of images on Friday as she wept beside his casket in an intimate farewell to her late husband, who she shares two children with.

‘Oh I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. God bless you,’ she whispers through muffled sobs, her voice cracking as she weeps over his body.

The raw moment came after she delivered a defiant public speech from Kirk’s own studio, vowing to continue his mission.

Erika promised to continue the political movement her husband started as she stood next to the empty chair once used by Kirk.

‘Charlie, I promise I will never let your legacy die, baby,’ she said. ‘I promise I’ll make Turning Point USA the biggest thing that this nation has ever seen.’

Her comments came just hours after the man alleged to have shot and killed her husband was identified and arrested.

Tyler Robinson, 22, was turned over to officials in Utah after a 33-hour manhunt for the suspect in the assassination.

He was arrested on suspicion of aggravated murder, felony discharge of a firearm causing serious bodily harm, and obstruction of justice.

Authorities said he inscribed messages on bullets referring to internet culture and anti-fascist sentiments before firing the shot that killed Kirk on Wednesday.

Robinson was turned in to police by his father and a minister in southern Utah after images of a person of interest were shared by authorities.

Officials said he had become more political in recent years, and mentioned Kirk going to Utah Valley University.

Governor Spencer Cox added: ‘In the conversation with another family member, Robinson mentioned Charlie Kirk was coming to UVU.

‘They talked about why they didn’t like [Kirk] and the viewpoints that he had.’

Robinson is alleged to have said at dinner with family that ‘Kirk was full of hate and spreading hate’.

FBI Director Kash Patel claimed the capture of the suspect was ‘historic’ – patting the bureau on the back for bringing the manhunt to an end.

Questions have started to arise however over Patel’s leadership and the lack of leads they had before Robinson was luckily handed over.

Robinson lives in a $600,000 six-bedroom home in Washington, Utah – about 260 miles south of Kirk’s assassination site in Orem.

His family’s social media show Robinson with his brothers enjoying vacations and sharing selfies, including some celebrating the alleged killer getting into college.

President Donald Trump said he now wants to see the killer get the death penalty for the assassination of Kirk, whom he described as the ‘finest person’.
