Dave Grohl seen with wife Jordyn Blum for first time since revealing he fathered secret love child

Dave Grohl was spotted with his longtime wife Jordyn Blum for the first time publicly since revealing he fathered a secret love child late last year.

The Foo Fighters rocker, 56, shocked fans in September when he confessed to cheating on Blum, 48, and welcoming a baby girl with an as-yet unnamed woman – revealing he was fighting to regain the trust of Blum and their three daughters.

Weeks later, Grohl hired a divorce lawyer but quickly called it off in the hopes of ‘working things out’ with Blum, who he’s been married to for 21 years.

Grohl was photographed in the passenger’s seat of Blum’s black BMW on Sunday, February 9, as she drove them around Los Angeles.

The Nirvana alum, wearing a black baseball cap and black T-shirt, looked tense as he and Blum appeared to have a serious discussion inside the car.

The mother-of-three kept sunglasses over her eyes and didn’t appear to be wearing her wedding ring as she spoke to Grohl.

The couple’s reunion comes two weeks after Grohl performed on stage for the first since the cheating scandal broke.

He joined Krist Novoselic, 59, and Pat Smear, 65, as the surviving members of Nirvana as part of the star-studded Fire Aid concert in Los Angeles on January 30.

Grohl was uncharacteristically silent behind the drum kit during the band’s four song set, leaving the introductions to Novoselic.

His daughter Violet Grohl, 18, filled in for the late Kurt Cobain on All Apologies off the band’s seminal 1993 album In Utero — months after it was reported she was not on speaking terms with her famous father.

Grohl was choked up as he drummed along to the song while watching his eldest daughter performing for the sold out and enraptured crowd.

Along with Violet, Grohl and his wife Blum — who wed back in 2003 — share daughters Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10.

In his cheating confession, which he published to social media on September 10, Grohl directly addressed his family while revealing to fans that he is now father to a baby girl, who was conceived outside of his marriage to Blum. 

‘I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage. I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her,’ Grohl announced to his 1.4 million followers on Instagram.

‘I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness.’

He concluded: ‘We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together,’ he concluded the brief post.

Grohl did not share any information about his fourth child’s mother in the post.

Following his announcement that he had fathered a secret love child, his two older daughters both took down their social media accounts.

Days later his alleged relationship with porn publisher Annaliese Nielsen, 40, was brought to light, with her former friends telling DailyMail.com that she had a 15-year affair with the front man.

Blum reportedly ‘turned a blind eye’ to Grohl’s behavior throughout their 21-year marriage.

‘Close friends believe she has turned a blind eye to Dave’s indiscretions for a long time,’ the insider told DailyMail.com at the time.

‘Now he has humiliated her in front of the world with his baby bombshell, she can no longer hide behind the facade of a perfect marriage.’

It was also rumored that Grohl had been arguing with Blum over her ‘flirty’ relationship with her married tennis coach Christopher Crabb, in what insiders claimed was an attempt to detract from his own indiscretions.

‘Dave Grohl has been jealous for ages about Jordyn’s hot tennis coach,’ an insider previously told DailyMail.com.

‘They’ve had arguments about him, and Dave thinks they’ve flirted. Jordyn has told him he’s crazy to even think that. But Dave has persisted.’

However, he walked back the decision in November, with a source telling PEOPLE that Grohl wants to ‘work things out’ with Blum and that, for now, divorce is off the table.

They said: ‘He’s no longer working with a divorce attorney and instead hoping to work things out with his wife’

The sources also alleged that Blum had known about Grohl’s baby ‘for a while’ and said she is a ‘great mom and very dedicated to their daughters.’

In another apparent sign that Grohl and Blum may be trying to salvage their relationship, a source revealed to PEOPLE in December that the couple and their daughters spent Christmas ‘as a family.’ 

‘They are all spending Christmas as a family,’ the insider said.
