Sean “Diddy” Combs is hanging with a former professional athlete in prison.
The former rap star, 55, is currently imprisoned at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey. The former music mogul was arrested in September of 2024. He was ultimately found guilty of transportation to engage in prostitution. Diddy was sentenced to serve four years and two months behind bars, after being found guilty on two counts.
Diddy was also ordered to pay a $500,000 fine and participate in programs for mental health issues and substance abuse problems. Diddy was previously held in Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, NY, before getting transferred to prison in New Jersey following his sentencing.

Diddy appears to be doing OK in prison.
According to Page Six, Diddy was seen smiling in the prison yard over the weekend.
“His pearly whites were on display on top of his gray beard as he chatted with a group of men out on the prison yard,” the outlet reported.
“At one point, he even shook one of the guys’ hands as if they’ were happy to be making acquaintance with the Grammy winner.
“Page Six has reached out to Combs’ rep but did not immediately receive a response.”
Diddy is hanging with a former NBA star
Former NBA star Sebastian Telfair, the No. 13 overall pick in the 2004 NBA Draft, pleaded guilty to charges of fraud on March 16, 2023. He was ultimately sentenced to six months in prison in August.
According to TMZ Sports, Diddy has been hanging with Telfair in prison.
“Diddy and Bassy are the most famous inmates doing time at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey … and they hung out Saturday in the prison yard … and we have photos from their chat,” the outlet reported.
“We showed you pics of the Bad Boy Records founder laughing and chatting with a bunch of convicts … and Sebastian’s publicist tells us that’s him talking to Diddy in a couple of the photos.
“Diddy’s obviously a huge figure in NYC and Bassy is something of a Big Apple basketball legend himself.”
Diddy and Telfair will have a lot of free time on their hands moving forward, that’s for sure.
