Hawley calls for HUD investigation into ‘unsafe conditions’ at Blue Springs apartment complex

U.S. Sen. Josh Hawley is calling for a federal investigation into what he described as unsafe and unsanitary conditions at a Blue Springs apartment complex. Hawley sent a letter on Monday to Housing and Urban Development Secretary Scott Turner requesting that HUD review the Villas of Autumn Bend, a federally subsidized property managed by Dalmark Group. The senator said tenants reported sewage overflows, mold, and dirty ventilation systems.
