Kelly Brook and Martin Kemp will be among stars entering the jungle today for the new series of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!
Ten celebrities; Brook, Kemp, Eddie Kadi, Shona McGarty, Ruby Wax, Angry Ginge, Alex Scott, Aitch, Lisa Riley and Jack Osbourne have gone Down Under in a bid to be crowned King or Queen of the Jungle.
The survival reality show, presented by Declan Donnelly, 50, and Ant McPartlin, 49, sees celebrities take on insects and the dreaded Bushtucker Trials.
Follow the Daily Mail’s live updates on the launch show at 9pm on ITV
Ahead of the launch episode, Martin Kemp, 64, revealed he will ‘not be avoiding that Jungle shower’.
When it was announced that the eighties heartthrob, who found fame as the guitarist in Spandau Ballet, would be appearing on the ITV reality show, women across the nation swooned.
And Martin, it seems, will not disappoint as he told the Mail on Sunday: ‘I hope I get a Jungle shower moment, I’m not sure I’ll be doing an old Myleene Klaas, I haven’t had time to work out but listen, I won’t be avoiding the Jungle shower, let’s put it that way.’

We have lift off!
Speaking through a mic to the stars, Ant begins: ‘Hello celebrities welcome to Australia.
‘Hope you’re enjoying the high life up there. Well enjoy it while you can because you’re about to be thrown in at the deep end.’
Dec then reveals that the only way for the celebs to make it down the 12,000 feet to land is via a parachute!
‘I’m hanging out of a f***ing helicopter,’ Kelly says – before the stars are seen dropping one at a time.
Martin Kemp reveals plans to outdo his son Roman
Next seen in the sky are comedian Eddie Kadi and EastEnders’ star Shona McGarty.
Comparing herself to her soap character Whitney, Shona said they share the love of a hoop earring – but there’s no room for that in the jungle.
Spotting Shona in a helicopter near him, Eddie shouts: ‘It’s Whitney’.
Last but not least to be seen in the air is actor and pop legend Martin Kemp.
Speaking of his son Roman Kemp (seen below) doing the show back in 2019, Martin says: ‘The pressure is on me to do a bit better than that! I’d love to say I don’t wanna win, but I do…’
It’s jungle time!
The 25th series of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! has officially kicked off and the first to leap from the sky is Aitch.
‘I’m known for making music – and probably eating kangaroo balls after this,’ the rapper quipped.
While in the helicopter, Aitch said: ‘Fear of the unknown. that’s what I’ve got right now.’
Next up was Kelly Brook, who described herself as ‘equal parts scared and terrified’ and revealed she’s got a fear of…. escalators.
The model has been googling the health benefits of eating worms and critters and is viewing the jungle as a wellness retreat.
The new series of I’m A Celebrity wastes no time throwing its stars straight into the action.
In tonight’s launch episode, a group of five contestants will be whisked into the sky by helicopter before making the dramatic leap into the jungle.
Leading the charge is Brit Award–winning rapper Aitch.
Sharing the helicopter with him is Heart Radio presenter and model Kelly Brook, prompting him to exclaim: ‘I’m in a heli with Kelly!’

I’m A Celeb FIRST LOOK: Lisa and Alex join Jack, Ruby and AngryGinge as they film trial
As I’m A Celebrity gears up for its launch on Sunday, AngryGinge, Ruby Wax, Lisa Riley, Jack Osbourne and Alex Scott have been spotted completing their first trial.
Greeted by the ITV show’s longtime hosts, Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, the group met at the luxury private retreat, Rivermead Estate, to endure their first taste of I’m A Celeb life.
Contestants were made to put a glass bowl over their head with snakes inside to fight for a seat in the luxury Getaway Car that will ensure them comfortable beds in camp.
The three losing celebrities found themselves in the Coco Van, a disgusting bus filled with fish guts driven by Kiosk Kev, and will not get camp privileges when they arrive.
Despite completing the trials that determine their place in camp, they will not actually enter the Jungle until Saturday.
According to eyewitnesses, the trial was scuppered by heavy rain and thunderstorms that have rolled in over Australia’s Gold Coast, and the filming process took several hours.
Revealed: The ‘LEAKED’ salaries of this year’s I’m A Celebrity stars
The amount this year’s cast are banking has reportedly been leaked to a TV insider to The Sun, with rapper Aitch taking top spot and comedian Eddie Kadi being the lowest.
According to the insider, here’s the salaries for this year’s line-up:
- Eddie Kadi – £75,000
- Kelly Brook – £80,000
- Martin Kemp, Ruby Wax, Lisa Riley and Shona McGarty – £95,000
- AngryGinge and Alex Scott – £100,000
- Jack Osbourne – £200,000
- Aitch (pictured) – £250,000
Dark horse tipped to be crowned the King of the Jungle
With such great names, it’s hard to know who is going to be crowned king or queen of the jungle, but Online Betting Guide (OLBG) have shared their odds on who they think will take the crown.
TikToker AngryGinge, 23 – real name Morgan Burtwistle – has odds of 3/1 and a probabilty of 25%.
Meanwhile Tom Read Wilson, 38, who is known for being the receptionist on E4’s Celebs Go Dating, is not far behind him with odds of 5/1 and a probability of 16.70%.
And Spandau Ballet star Martin Kemp, 64, had odds of 6/1 and a probability of 14.30%.
Unlucky for comedian, actress and mental health campaigner Ruby Wax, 72, she has odds of 33/1 and probability of 2.90% of winning.
Comedian Eddie Kadi, 42, was also given the same figures.
Entertainment betting expert Jake Ashton said:
AngryGinge may not be a household name just yet, but he’s got a strong fanbase and could quickly become a camp favourite. This could be one of the most unpredictable series in years.
Exclusive:Martin Kemp leaves club promoters scrambling as he cancels last minute gigs
With his piercing blue eyes and androgynous style, he was one of the heartthrobs of the New Romantic era.
And in recent years, Martin Kemp has carved out a career for himself as a television star and DJ, travelling up and down the country for gigs, while still appearing on Celebrity Gogglebox and The Masked Singer.
Now, the 64-year-old is on his way to Australia for a handsome sum of cash to take part in this year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
But it seems Martin has left a lot of disappointed fans and club promoters in his wake.
He has postponed numerous club appearances as part of his Back to the 80s Tour, despite telling his 573k Instagram followers on October 24 that ‘all gigs are still on’.
Not only that, insiders tell me that Martin left nightclub bookers scrambling at the last minute to find cover, and has left them out of pocket after forking out for his travel and accommodation.
Jack Osbourne reveals how mum Sharon and sister Kelly reacted to I’m A Celeb entry
Jack Osbourne has revealed what his mum Sharon and sister Kelly think of him going on I’m A Celebrity, months after his father Ozzy’s death.
The Black Sabbath legend died of heart failure aged 76 at his Buckinghamshire home on July 22, just two weeks after performing a farewell concert with his bandmates at Birmingham’s Villa Park.
In the wake of Ozzy’s death, Jack, 42, will head to the jungle as part of a star-studded line-up, including Kelly Brooks, Aitch and Alex Scott.
In a new interview, Jack says his family have given him their full support and hope taking part in the show will help him in his grief.
‘Mum and Kelly, they are absolutely going to be watching. They are supportive,’ he says.
‘It’s absolutely going to be hard leaving them behind. I have got lots of kids, my wife, and my family still in the wake of my dad passing. It is going to be difficult, that is for sure.
Kelly Brook set for frosty I’m A Celeb reunion with Ant and Dec
Kelly Brook is set for an awkward reunion with Ant and Dec on I’m A Celebrity.
The star, 45, has set off Down Under to join the roster of stars headed into the jungle on the show, which has been fronted by the TV legends for its 24 year run – however relations may be fraught when she comes face to face with the hosts.
Kelly has been at loggerheads with the famous pair since 2009, when she alleged they got her fired from her role as a judge on Britain’s Got Talent, due to the fact she did not know what they did on the show, leading to a ‘clash of egos’.
The model and actress insisted they had thwarted her career, saying after the axing: ‘There was nothing I could do in this country after Britain’s Got Talent. The people at ITV were telling me that I had upset Ant and Dec and that was it.’
Ahead of her stint in the jungle, Kelly looked to be extending an olive branch as she said in her pre-show interview about her dream camper: ‘Ant & Dec. They are very well dressed and it would be fun to be in with them to see how they survive.’
Vogue Williams and Tom Read Wilson confirmed as late entries
Irish TV personality, Vogue Williams, and beloved Celebs Go Dating receptionist, Tom Read Wilson, have been confirmed as the late entries to this year’s I’m A Celeb.
Each year, two contestants enter a week later than the first batch of 10 celebrities and typically have to complete their own task before joining the rest of the camp.
Vogue, 40, who shares three children Theodore, seven, Gigi, five, and Otto, three, with Made in Chelsea star Spencer Matthews, has become a household name in the UK.
Tom, 38, is set to be hugely popular with I’m A Celeb viewers and ‘a perfect companion for Vogue to enter the Jungle with,’ one TV insider told the Daily Mail.
Last year’s late entries were Love Island star Maura Higgins, and Reverend Richard Coles, who both lasted until the final five.
Ruby Wax
Ruby, 72, shot to fame in the 70s as an actress, comedian and writer. But nowadays she’s known as a mental health expert.
Ahead of her stint, she said: ‘It hasn’t actually sunk in that I am doing this, but I am really looking forward to meeting my fellow campmates.
‘I was offered the chance to take part a long time ago and I thought, “No, I could never do that” but now it’s the right time. I like doing adventurous things.
‘It will be nice for people to get to know the real me because you can’t hide in the jungle.
‘In my personas before, I looked quite aggressive and pushy, and I think it was just my nerves. I am not aggressive, it’s the way I talk. I’m not confrontational and it looked like I was. ‘
- Phobias: Nothing
- Dream campmate: Barack Obama
Alex Scott
Telly presenter and former footballer Alex, 41, has had a successful career on the pitch playing for the likes of Arsenal, Birmingham City and Great Britain.
Talking about what her singer partner Jess Glynne, who she started dating in 2023, thinks about her taking part in the show, Alex said: ‘Jess thinks I am absolutely mental! But she will be my biggest supporter, and my mum absolutely loves the show.
‘Thinking of her tuning in every night will bring a tear.
‘But I will need to push myself to speak out around all of the different and big personalities.
‘Not going into myself for being the shy one will be my big challenge.’
- Phobia: Heights
- Dream campmate: Sir Stephen Fry
Lisa Riley
Emmerdale actress Lisa, 49, best known for playing Mandy Dingle on the ITV soap, was the second famous face to arrive at Brisbane airport.
Talking to the Daily Mail, she said: ‘We did Dingle Down Under many years ago, so it’s only fair that we do it again.’
The comment was in reference to the Emmerdale film, The Dingles Down Under, which came out in 1997.
This isn’t the first time that Lisa has been asked to take part in the beloved series.
Ahead of flying to Brisbane, Lisa said: ‘They have asked me to be in it numerous times before – but now I’ve finally said ‘yes’.
‘The reason is I’m going to be 50 next year, it’s thirty years on and off playing Mandy Dingle in Emmerdale and ten years of being sober.
- Phobia: Rats, confined spaces and the dark
- Dream campmate: Madonna or David Schwimmer
Jack Osbourne
TV personality Jack, 39, son of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, has previously starred in reality programme The Osbournes in the early 2000s, as well as Osbourne: Adrenaline Junkie and Saving The Planet.
Ahead of going down under, he opened up about how he is going to struggle to be away from his loved ones.
Jack said: ‘It’s absolutely going to be hard leaving them behind. I have got lots of kids, my wife, and my family still in the wake of my dad passing.
‘It is going to be difficult, that is for sure.
‘It’s not the longest amount of time I’ve been away from them. I’ve gone on different trips filming Adrenaline Junkie for nearly two months without a phone, but I still had access to one and I was able to make calls home.
- Phobia: Spiders
- Dream campmate: Ricky Gervais
Shona McGarty
Soap star Shona is best known for playing Whitney Dean on EastEnders between 2008 to 2024.
She left the BBC soap to pursue other opportunities – and clearly the jungle is top of her list.
She became the third famous face to land in Australia on Sunday.
Shona joked to the Daily Mail, ‘I’ve got on the wrong flight,’ when asked why she was in Australia as contestants are not officially allowed to confirm their appearance on the ITV show.
She continued: ‘I’m going to have to ask for directions back now. I really want to see a kangaroo, I’ve never seen one in my life.’
‘I have always wanted to do I’m A Celebrity… because I am a massive fan of the show. Now that I have left EastEnders, I want to do other things,’ Shona said of signing up to the programme.
- Phobia: Water
- Dream campmate: Angelina Jolie
Martin Kemp
Martin, 64, is best known for being part of the band Spandau Ballet in the late 70s, and his son Roman – who he shares with wife Shirlie Holliman – took part in the show in 2019.
Ahead of his jungle stint, Martin said: ‘I’ve had to cancel some jobs but when Roman was on I’m A Celebrity… I was addicted.
‘I watched it every day and enjoyed it so much. I felt it was now time in my life for an adventure.
‘I have been on this journey of DJing over the last five years, it has been non-stop and I thought it was time to give something back to myself.
‘I absolutely love the show, it is iconic TV, which I love being part of.’
- Phobias: Rats and heights
- Dream campmate: Robert de Niro or Al Pacino
Eddie Kadi
Comedian Eddie, 42, is another celebrity taking part this year – and he is no stranger to reality television, after starring in Strictly last year.
But it seems to be that his family and friends that have been on the show are who have inspired him to take on the challenge.
Eddie said: ‘I have had a few friends who have done it like Oti Mabuse and Babatunde.
‘They have all come back with such great stories. You only live once and I said ‘yes’ immediately.
‘Raising a daughter is a beautiful thing and my daughter is extremely excited. It’s going to be a story for her every single day.
- Phobia: All insects
- Dream campmate: Jackie Chan
Kelly Brook
On Saturday (November 8), model Kelly, 45, flashed a huge smile as she jetted off to Australia ahead of her stint in the jungle.
The Loose Women star was one of the first stars to touch down under, looking very glamorous in a £250 yellow and orange dress from Louisa Ballou.
She told the Daily Mail: ‘I’m just here to visit my Auntie Sheila’ as celebrities are not allowed to confirm whether they are appearing on the ITV show yet.
When asked what she would miss most about the UK, she said: ‘My dog Teddy and my husband Jeremy.
‘But I’m looking forward to surfing and seeing my distant cousin I’ve not seen for a long time and the Koalas and Kangaroos of course. I’m not sure about sleeping under the stars, I’m hoping she has a spare room.’
- Phobia: Heights
- Dream campmate: Ant and Dec or Myleene Klass
AngryGinge
AngryGinge, real name Morgan Burtwistle, is a social media star from Salford who is best known for his presence on Twitch and YouTube, playing FIFA and talking about football.
The 23-year-old is another star that has just landed in Australia to take on the insects and crazy Bushtucker Trials.
The TikTok star said: ‘When I got approached to be on I’m A Celebrity…, I said “yes” immediately because it’s a bucket list item.
‘I’ve watched the show on the sofa with my mum ever since I was a kid. To take part in it this year is something I couldn’t pass up on.
‘But my whole life is spent on the phone. I’ve been away once for a week.
‘And so, two to three weeks without it is going to be very educational to see how I will do!”
- Phobia: Spiders
- Dream campmate: Wayne Rooney
Aitch
Aitch, real name Harrison James Armstrong, is a rapper taking part in the series.
The artist is hoping to inspire younger viewers during his time on the ITV show after becoming the fourth person to land at Brisbane airport.
He said: ‘It’s already unheard of to have a rapper from North Manchester.’
He arrived down under wearing a full black and white Adidas tracksuit, insisting that he was in Australia on ‘tour’ as the contestants still cannot confirm they are going into the Jungle.
The Rain rapper told the Daily Mail: ‘I was gonna say that I’ll miss the rain in the UK but it’s raining here so nothing’s changed much.
‘I’ve been to Australia plenty of times, I love it over here. I don’t mind snakes, snake on toast.’
- Phobia: Nothing
- Dream campmate: Snoop Dogg
