Ahead of I’m A Celebrity’s launch on Sunday, a clip has gone viral online of AngryGinge revealing his real name to to Micah Richards, sending the football pundit into hysterical fits of laughter.
The Twitch streamer, 24, is gearing up to enter the jungle, with bookmakers already naming him the early favourite to be crowned the winner.
But as the social media sensation is known by his online names Angryginge and Angryginge13, even some of his fans may not know his real name.
And one such person was The Rest Is Football host Micah, who couldn’t hold back his giggles after AngryGinge revealed he is actually called Morgan Burtwistle on the Baller League UK podcast.
A video of the moment has gone viral on Reddit and TikTok, showing the content creator urging the footballer to put in a good word for him.
He says: ‘I think next time you’re on Sky, you’ll just have to try and throw my name in there’, as Micah then asks: ‘What’s your government name?’

As AngryGinge replies with ‘Morgan’, the Match of the Day star collapses into a fit of laughter, crying: ‘WHAT? Morgan?’
AngryGinge defends himself, asking: ‘What’s wrong with that?’ as a still chuckling Micah replies: ‘Deary, deary, deary me… Morgan?’
The streamer then admits: ‘The worst thing as well is that because I’m ginger, when I was born my dad wanted to dye my hair!’
Micah then asks to know the star’s surname, but once again explodes into giggles as AngryGinge answers ‘Burtwistle’, joining in the laughter as Micah quips: ‘Deary, deary, deary me Morgan Burtwistle.’
Fans couldn’t help but also be left in stitches over the clip, as they commented: ‘He couldn’t even say his own last name without laughing’.
‘Morgan BURTWHISTLE the kid never stood a chance’; ‘That government name is built for a horrid henry character; ‘Micah Richards is a national treasure’.
‘His name is built for a Harry Potter character’; ‘Micah’s energy is always contagious, his laugh always gets me’; ‘Morgan Burtwhistle is the most British porn star you’ve ever seen’.
‘This is hilarious. The way they both laughed had me. And his dad wanted to dye his hair as a kid!!!! The guys’ voice went up five pitches when he laughed—rolling back in the chair.’

AngryGinge boasts five million followers across social media and has made an estimated £1million from livestreaming himself sat in his bedroom on the video platform Twitch chatting idly about football and commenting on trending topics.
Speaking ahead of his entrance into the Jungle, he said: ‘I’m more happy to give my voice a little bit of a rest for a couple of weeks. Because normally I’m streaming for six to nine hours, which is constant talking.’
But he admitted he is ‘feeling the pressure’ to be entertaining for ITV viewers and has shared his fears of ‘imposter syndrome’.
He told Daily Mail: ‘It adds a little bit of pressure because you want to entertain anyway. No matter what goes on in that camp, I want to make it good TV for the people watching. So there’s a little bit of pressure.
‘I think the main one I’m nervous about is meeting the rest of the cast just because I’ve never classed myself as a celebrity.
‘So going up and meeting other people that actually are celebrities, that’s quite nerve-wracking in itself. Because obviously growing up seeing them on TV and stuff like that. I’ve got a feeling I might get a little bit of imposter syndrome.’
He already counts several other big names as friends, including Wayne Rooney and Luke Littler – who he appeared on Celebrity Gogglebox alongside.
AngryGinge and footballer Wayne got to know each other by streaming FIFA and built up a good relationship.

Speaking of their bond, AngryGinge said: ‘The one thing I’ll say about Wayne Rooney is that he’s absolutely brilliant, he’s just a normal, down to earth lad and he’s hilarious, he’s funny, he’s my idol as well growing up.
‘The fact I’ve managed to go to his house and have a drink with him, let alone just to chill and speak to him is just crazy.’
And he got some great advice Wayne’s wife and last year’s I’m A Celebrity runner up, Coleen Rooney, on how to be successful in the Jungle.
He said: ‘Wayne was buzzing when I told him I was up for it. He said he can’t wait and he’ll be voting for me to do trials as well. So at least I know I’ve got the backing of them to make me do trials.
‘I’ve had some advice from Coleen as well, so that was good. Some tips and tricks while we’re in there.’
The WAG, 39, who placed second after McFly’s Danny Jones, told the social media star to reduce his caffeine intake a month before and to empty his water bottle out at trials so production refill it as the water in camp is ‘smokey’.
And AngryGinge looked to already be getting stuck in as he was spotted with fellow campmates Ruby Wax, Lisa Riley, Jack Osbourne and Alex Scott, completing their first trial, ahead of the show’s launch on Sunday.
Greeted by the ITV show’s longtime hosts, Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, the group met at the luxury private retreat, Rivermead Estate, to endure their first taste of I’m A Celeb life.

Contestants were made to put a glass bowl over their head with snakes inside to fight for a seat in the luxury Getaway Car that will ensure them comfortable beds in camp.
The three losing celebrities found themselves in the Coco Van, a disgusting bus filled with fish guts driven by Kiosk Kev, and will not get camp privileges when they arrive.
Despite completing the trials that determine their place in camp, they will not actually enter the Jungle until Saturday.
According to eyewitnesses, the trial was scuppered by heavy rain and thunderstorms that have rolled in over Australia’s Gold Coast, and the filming process took several hours.
Meanwhile, the other five contestants, Spandau Ballet’s Martin Kemp, model Kelly Brook, rapper Aitch, comedian Eddie Kadi and ex-EastEnders star Shona McGarty, parachuted down to a beach from helicopters for their trial yesterday.
After successfully jumping from individual helicopters, the group danced in a huddle on the beach as they celebrated their early achievement on the reality show.
Hosts Ant and Dec were stood above on the headland and waved down to the latest batch of campmates following their daring feat.
