Marisa Abela looked every inch the blushing bride as she tied the knot with Jamie Bogyo in an Old-Hollywood inspired wedding ceremony that was attended by her celebrity pals.

The Back To Black star, 28, looked incredible in an Emilia Wickstead gown, complete with a dramatic nine-foot veil as she posed with her new husband, 31, as they drove past their wedding guests in a white open top car.

Marisa’s first wedding dress was inspired by Audrey Hepburn, featured a drop waist and sculpted off-the-shoulder micro-sleeves that hugged the actress’s arms, while a structured corset created a sleek silhouette.

She paired the show-stopping gown with custom Jimmy Choo Max 150 heels, which were personalised with the couple’s initials on the sole, adding a sentimental touch.

Among those watching the couple tie the knot at Firle Place in East Sussex were Twisters star Kiernan Shipka and Kit Harington – Marisa’s on-screen husband in Industry.

in a romantic nod to one of the first moments of their relationship, Marisa walked down the aisle to the theme from Cinema Paradiso – the film the pair watched together before saying ‘I love you.’

Marisa’s Industry co-star Myha’la was a bridesmaid on the day.

Jamie’s best man, Nate Janis, officiated the ceremony, while the bride’s and groom’s fathers both gave heartfelt readings.

Their drama school friends, Liadán Dunlea and Iwan Davis, performed a touching rendition of May You Never by John Martyn.

‘We wrote our own vows,’ Marisa told British Vogue. ‘We actually did a legal ceremony at Islington Town Hall the week before, which was incredibly special and intimate, with just our parents in attendance and a lunch at one of our favorite local spots afterward.

‘This meant that our ceremony at Firle could be totally unique to us, a real celebration of who we are as people and what we mean to one another.

‘It was the greatest moment of our lives. We cried, of course. Completely overwhelmed. There was just so much love in that room. It was just the most personal, heartfelt ceremony.’

After the ceremony, Marisa changed into a second Emilia Wickstead creation, the elegant ivory Micheline gown, for the evening reception.

Meanwhile, Jamie looked dapper in a custom double-breasted tuxedo by Dunhill, complete with black-and-white detailing.

After saying ‘I do,’ the newlyweds celebrated with their guests under a shower of confetti, sipping their favourite champagne and cocktails alongside a spread of canapés.

Later in the evening, everyone was whisked away to Soho House Brighton, where they enjoyed an intimate dinner followed by a lively night of dancing.

Ahead of the big day, Marisa set the tone for the weekend’s festivities in a custom dress by The Own Studio and a chic Noel Stewart hat for the couple’s rehearsal dinner.

In July earlier this year, Marisa revealed she was engaged to the West End star.

The actress – who portrayed Amy Winehouse in the Back To Black biopic – shared the news in an Instagram post, admitting she was a ‘weeping mess’.

Jamie shared pictures and videos of the moment, captioned: ‘She said she’ll think about it!’, with Marisa commenting: ‘A weeping mess.’

In an apparent sweet nod to the late singer Amy, who Marisa found global fame playing, the pair celebrated on Primrose Hill – one of Amy’s favourite haunts.

In Jamie’s post, Marisa could be seen leaping into her partner’s arms after he got down on one knee in the park for a sweet embrace.

The actress was then surprised by her friends and family, who had gathered to congratulate the couple on their joyous news.

An adorable snap holding onto a rose also allowed Marisa to show off her whopping diamond ring.
