Muskan Rastogi planned Saurabh Rajput’s murder, alleges accused Sahil Shukla’s grandmother: ‘Nothing could be worse’

Meerut murder case: Muskan Rastogi planned and executed the murder of her husband Saurabh Rajput in Meerut, accused Sahil Shukla’s maternal grandmother alleged on Thursday.

Pushpa Devi, the maternal grandmother of Sahil Shukla, who has been arrested for murdering Saurabh Rajput along with Muskan Rastogi, met her grandson at the district jail today.

“Sahil did not tell me anything when I met him… I have never even seen Muskan… Nothing could be worse than this (crime). But I am still confused as to what happened and how… The girl (Muskan Rastogi) planned and executed everything… Both have made a huge mistake,” Pushpa Devi was quoted as saying by ANI.

Meanwhile, Chaudhary Charan Singh district jail SSP Dr. Viresh Raj Sharma said that both the accused in the Meerut murder case are living like any other prisoner.

“Currently Sahil and Muskan are living in the prison like any other prisoner,” ANI quoted him as saying.

Sharma also confirmed Pushpa Devi’s visit to the prison.

“Sahil’s maternal grandmother had appealed in the prison to meet him. She was given permission as per the rules, and she has come to meet Sahil today,” he said.
