Olly Murs is set to become a dad AGAIN as he reveals he and wife Amelia are expecting their second child

Olly Murs is set to become a dad for the second time as he revealed he and his wife Amelia are expecting their second child. 

The couple welcomed their first daughter Madison last May, and taking to Instagram on Friday they confirmed the 11-month-old is set to become a Big Sister. 

In an adorable black and white video the family of three were seen walking through the park as Madison sat on her father’s shoulders. 

She wore a denim jacket embossed with the words ‘BIG SIS’, while Amelia held a reel of snaps of the baby scan as they penned: ‘We’re so egg-cited to share this..… Another Baby Murs on the way’.

Olly, 40, and his bodybuilder partner, 32, who married in July 2023, announced the arrival of their baby girl on April 17, and just 48 hours after Amelia had given birth the singer was back on tour with Take That.

The singer told the crowd at the time how he had been juggling nappies and late nights, but felt guilty he had been working away from home.

He said: ‘It’s been the most craziest time. Cos obviously on one hand I’ve got this beautiful baby girl, my wife is at home looking after her with the nappies, and the sleepless nights.

‘And I’m on tour with Take That. I feel guilty!’

Last month Olly candidly confessed he broke down in tears a few months after the birth of his daughter after he was forced to leave her just two days after her birth.

He admitted to the emotional toll the decision had on him months after when he realised he had never got to know his daughter as a baby.

Speaking with new dad Mark Wright on their Heart Breakfast show, Olly confessed: ‘It was really hard for me as I had to leave two days after the baby was born to go on tour with Take That.’

He explained: ‘I didn’t really process it at the time and a few months later me and Amelia were chatting and I just broke down in tears as I never got a chance to actually get to know this little baby.’

Supporting his pal amid his decision to leave his family for work commitments, Mark added: ‘But you were doing it all for her future.’

At the time of his tour with Take That Olly was racing home to Essex after gigs to spend time with Amelia and Madison.

Olly previously confessed he broke down in tears after being forced to leave his newborn daughter just days after her birth due to work commitments last April 

In the exclusive clip obtained my MailOnline last April, Olly explained: ‘But this week I’ve been home. I’ve done the nappies, I’ve done the late nights and I can’t wait to stay on tour.

‘I’m joking! Honestly, she is truly awesome. I never thought I’d be a dad, so I can’t quite believe it.

Pointing to his manhood, Olly shouted: ‘It works! And genuinely I’m super, super proud. And to be on this tour, it’s just topped it off. So what an amazing time for me right now.’

The announcement comes just a month after Olly’s best pal Mark Wright welcomed his first child with wife Michelle Keegan. 

Mark overcome with emotion as he opened up about becoming a new dad to daughter Palma on the pair’s radio show last month as he described it as the ‘biggest achievement’ of his life. 

As Olly asked Mark how he was feeling, the star fought back emotions as he said: ‘Mate, it’s actually hard to put into words. 

The announcement comes just a month after Olly’s best pal Mark Wright welcomed his first child with wife Michelle Keegan 

‘It’s the biggest achievement of my life its all I think about but obviously hats go off to my wife she is an absolute super human, a superhero for bringing this baby into the world.’

Recalling the first moment he held her he continued: ‘That moment when I held her in my arms, it gets me emotional now thinking about it. 

‘I suppose everything else goes out the window and its made me realise what life is all about and my little baby Palma I love you so much and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you.

‘It’s a very special feeling. I cant really put it into words. We’ve waited a little bit of time, we’ve chased our dreams and our careers and now we’re here. We’ve got a baby.’
