A Pro-Palestine protester has climbed Big Ben barefoot sparking a huge emergency response this morning.

Onlookers were left stunned as the man scaled part of the 96-metre-high building whilst waving a Palestinian flag.

Footage shows the individual yelling from a great height: ‘I’m not going anywhere,’ whilst shouting: ‘free, free Palestine.’

Luke Whelan, who witnessed the incident told MailOnline: ‘I was cycling to work when I noticed him climbing up Big Ben.

‘He looked like he was live streaming himself or on a video call or something. I assumed he was a free-runner influencer as he seemed very relaxed up there’
