A brush fire on Tuesday afternoon, March 18, forced the shutdown of the two main roads connecting the Florida Keys to mainland Miami-Dade County, according to deputies.
By Tuesday night, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office reported that access was gradually reopening, though caution was urged for drivers.
