A snowboarder managed to stay ahead of an avalanche on Mount Washington’s Tuckerman’s Ravine on Tuesday, March 11.
Footage from a Mount Washington Observatory webcam shows the avalanche beginning on Tuesday afternoon.
As it starts, the camera zooms in and a snowboarder can be seen coming down the ravine just ahead of the snow.
