A teacher who joked about having sex with a pupil’s mother and fell asleep while on the job has been banned from teaching.
Michael Clark taught maths at Lyng Hall School in Coventry but left his job after a pupil complained about his behaviour in 2022.
A tribunal in Coventry heard that he used homophobic slurs during lessons, had physical altercations with pupils and described himself as ‘f***ing untouchable’.
Mr Clark also made several sexual remarks about a pupil’s mother which the panel found him guilty of.
The vulgar comments included: ‘I do not need to w*** off, I will just get your mum to s*** me’.
When asked about the allegations during an internal investigation by the school he did not deny them and said ‘if that’s what they’re saying then I must have’.
In another, incident he said: ‘You are a p****, and not even the good kind like your mum has’.
The 46-year-old also pressed his finger into the collarbone of one pupil so severely that the child fell to the floor, the tribunal heard.

Mr Clark admitted during the tribunal that his relationships with pupils was not ‘not 100 per cent professional’ (stock image)
The Teaching Regulation Agency (TRA) misconduct panel banned Mr Clark from teaching for at least the next four years, The Telegraph reports.
The tribunal found he used unreasonable physical force with pupils and Mr Clark admitted to engaging in ‘horseplay and fun fights’.
After a physical confrontation with a student, he is alleged to have said: ‘I one-handed kicked his a****, stood on his neck, job is a dunun, I have a tea on my arm though, it is hard to do it with one hand’.
During another incident, Mr Clark said that after a pupil claimed he could ‘batter him’ the teacher ‘put him on the floor’.
Mr Clark admitted during the tribunal that his relationships with pupils was not ‘not 100 per cent professional’ and he would often ‘banter’ with students.
Marc Cavey the chairman of the panel said: ‘In my judgement, the lack of evidence that Mr Clark has developed full insight into and remorse for his behaviour means that there is some risk of repetition and this puts at risk the future wellbeing of pupils.
‘I consider therefore that a four-year review period is required to satisfy the maintenance of public confidence in the profession.
‘This means that Mr Michael Clark is prohibited from teaching indefinitely and cannot teach in any school, sixth-form college, relevant youth accommodation or children’s home in England’.
